Little remains of the Cattle Jetty, nor the associated stock quarantine station, that was added to the quarantine facilities at Point Nepean in 1879. Now just one section of the jetty remains and
another section was washed away recently.
The jetty is surrounded by drift wood that has been washed up around the structure. This morning some photographers told me that the second structure had recently been washed away, so i decided to go and check it out for myself.
