Run Warrandyte is a local community charity run. The first run in 2012 was created to support the local netball, cricket and football clubs. This year the run is supporting 18 causes including local sporting clubs, schools and charities.
It was a real family affair with a distance for everyone: 15km, 10km, 5 km, 2.2km and the U8 Kids run. The race start and finish lines were at Warrandyte Reserve as well as the Festival Village.
Despite the heat this weekend there was a great turnout and a wonderful community spirit with everyone having lots of fun during the run and around the Festival Village.
