Situated in the Sherbrooke Forest, Grants Picnic Ground is one of the top attractions of the Dandenong Ranges. If you love to walk and appreciate nature, there are walking tracks that start from the picnic ground which take you through the native plants and wildlife.

Starting in autumn and into winter the forest has a variety of fungi in all shapes and sizes growing on the damp trees and logs. You really need to keep an eye out because some are so tiny they are hard to spot. After a while though you get better at recognising the environments they like to grow. Here is a selection of what I found.
