I captured my first Colour Run on Sunday and was located at the Voost Foam Zone which was the first station. The huge foam machine created bubbles across the road and the dance music was pumping . The runners danced and played in the bubbles, and there was heaps of laughterIt until they moved on to the next part of the race. It was an amazing event with participants displaying pure joy at the Foam Zone and throughout the circuit. It is an all age event that bought joy to kids of all ages.
The Color Run at Flemington Racecourse in Melbourne, Victoria was held on Sunday, 24 November 2019, It is a 5km untimed event where you are doused from head to toe in a different colored powder at each kilometre mark.
Participants wear white at the starting line and finish the race plastered in color. Once the race is over, the fun continues at the Finish Festival, a larger-than-life party equipped with music, dancing, photo ops, activity booths, vendors, and more massive color throws, which create millions of vivid color combinations.
In 2019, The Color Run Australia is continuing to join forces with the Starlight Children's Foundation as the Official Charity Partner; Starlight are committed to bringing fun, joy and laughter to sick kids and their families.
