The Queen's Birthday long weekend was a great opportunity to get out for a shoot.
I wanted to go where there were not too many people, so I could maintain a safe distance. I headed to Shelley Beach at Portsea to photograph the green boat shed. I was prepared for a cold and windy afternoon on the beach but it was a beautiful sunny afternoon and the temperature was very mild. There were some pretty amazing rain clouds in the distance towards Portsea that looked threatening and added some drama to some of the shots.
I took a range of images starting from the golden hour through to sunset with the green boat shed and jetty as my subject. Some are facing the sun setting towards Portsea and the others facing towards Sorrento for the reverse sunset.
