Dragon Rock can be found at 16th Beach, an ocean beach found at Rye on the Mornington Peninsula. Calcarious sandstone cliffs tower above this popular beach which is named after the 16th point on the 11km Lifesaving Track, constructed in the 1890s to provide better access to the coast after two devastating shipwrecks. If you walk along the beach around the headland towards Rye you will view the Dragon rock and a myriad of other natural formations and rock pools.
