Thank you to Canon Australia for featuring my image of the sunset at Mount Martha Beach with the boy running past with his dog on their Instagram gallery. I finished off this weekend shooting at Mount Martha on the Mornington Peninsula. I wasn’t alone, there were lots of people out enjoying this sheltered beach that is lined with boat sheds including a young boy and his dog who ran past during the golden hour. Sunset at McCrae Beach

McCrae Beach is found between Dromana and Rosebud on the Mornington Peninsula. I love shooting this beach because it is a very special place for my family. It is where we have come together for four generations to enjoy holidays. It is where we all learn't to swim, build sand castles and play beach cricket. Once again we came together at McCrae this Easter, and these images were taken at sunset on Good Friday. Earlier in the day my father and brother went for their traditiona

12 Apostles & Port Campbell National Park, Great Ocean Road shoot

I arrived at Gibson Steps on Saturday morning excited about shooting the fantastic landscape on the Great Ocean Road over the weekend. Nest stop was Loch Ard Gorge, Island Arch, Razor Back in the afternoon and returning to Island Arch for Sunset. I was up early on Sunday morning to shoot the sunset. Port Campbell National Park is world famous for its extraordinary collection of wave-sculpted rock formations and the Twelve Apostles. Loch Ard Gorge, site of a 19th century shipw

    London Bridge, Portsea

It was a last minute decision to shoot the sunset from the London Beach lookout. at Portsea, I am so glad I made it there in time to capture this sunset. London Bridge is a well known, hollowed out sea stack that can be viewed from a lookout at the end of London Bridge Road. On either side of London Bridge are two high tide platform beaches, backed by 30 to 40 m high calcarenite bluffs and fronted by continuous intertidal rock flats, with reefs further offshore. Pulpit Rock at Cape Schanck

I have captured Cape Schanck on many occasions but never at sunset, so I have been on a mission to head there for sunset this summer. Tonight was the night, so I made my way down the boardwalk and climbed over the rocks in front of Pulpit Rock. Thanks to some other photographers there I was also invited to join in on shooting them and their steel wool spinning. Cape Schanck offers stunning ocean views, wild unspoilt beaches and dramatic volcanic formations. The boardwalk lead

    Bridgewater Bay, Blairgowrie

Even though I visited this location to shoot very recently, I was drawn back this day to capture another sunset at Bridgewater Bay, Blairgowrie on the Mornington Peninsula. Sunsets are never the same so I knew my images would be very different from earlier in the week and I was hoping for more colour. This amazing location can be found in the Mornington Peninsula National Park, either side of Koreen Point. St Johns Wood Road runs 2 km straight from Blairgowrie to a car park b

    Gunnamatta Ocean Beach

Exploring the amazing seaweed covered rock shelf and rock pools at Gunnamatta Ocean Beach on the Mornington Peninsula. It is the most popular surf beach in the Mornington Peninsula National Park, with consistently high swells and rocky reefs. The long stretch of exposed sandy beach is popular with walkers who can follow the beach east towards Fingal and Cape Schanck, and west towards Boag Rocks. www.morningtonpeninsula.com.au #GunnamattaOceanBeach #Gunamatta #Ocean #Sea #Rock

    Sunset at Anthony's Nose, McCrae

I headed to Anthony's Nose at McCrae to capture the sunset. It was a hot day in the summer holidays and the sky was bright blue and the clouds resemble fairy floss. Anthony's Nose is a point located on the southern shore of Port Phillip Bay, between Dromana and McCrae, in Victoria, Australia. Anthony's Nose was named by Charles La Trobe, because he thought that the landform had a strong resemblance to Anthony's Nose (Westchester) on the Hudson River, New York. It is the point
